Steve McCrone to receive ‘Lifetime Achievement’ award at Chambers UK Bar Awards 2025

Senior Clerk Steve McCrone is being recognised with the prestigious ‘Lifetime Achievement’ award at the Chambers UK Bar Awards 2025, honouring over thirty-five years of exemplary clerking.

Following a career in the Civil Service, Steve joined the clerks at 5 King’s Bench Walk before moving to 1 Hare Court (formerly 1 Mitre Court). Steve has clerked some of the most well-known names at the Bar. The award acknowledges his commitment to clerking at the highest level, as well as his dedication to 1 Hare Court and to the Family Bar as a whole.

The Chambers UK Bar Awards 2025 take place at Old Billingsgate on Thursday 13th November.
