We’re delighted to share that 1 Hare Court celebrated a remarkable double win at the Legal 500 Awards 2025 on 24th September, making the occasion a proud moment for our whole chambers and a testament to the outstanding talent within our team.
The exceptional achievements are:
- Family Silk of the Year – Nigel Dyer KC: Nigel’s award recognises not only his legal excellence but also his ongoing contribution to the evolution of family law. With a career spanning four decades, Nigel has been instructed in many of the most significant and complex matrimonial finance cases to come before the Family Courts. Now, Nigel works exclusively as a private FDR judge and evaluator, where his depth of experience places him in an ideal position to guide parties through sensitive and high-value disputes with skill, balance and insight.
- Senior Clerk of the Year – Steve McCrone: Steve’s award is a fitting tribute to his 35 years of dedication and leadership in the profession. As Senior Clerk, Steve has played a central role in shaping our success – not only ensuring the smooth running of chambers but also mentoring staff, supporting barristers and building strong relationships across the wider legal community. His professionalism, energy and strategic vision have made a lasting impact both within chambers and throughout the Bar.
