Tom Harvey successfully represented the applicant wife in enforcement proceedings. Simon Colton KC (sitting as a deputy High Court Judge) provided a Mostyn-like judgment exploring: (a) the court’s jurisdiction for making charging orders to secure sums payable to a third party; (b) the circumstances in which interest is or is not payable on orders for periodical payments; and (c) whether the court should apply, or depart from, the regime of fixed costs on the making of final charging orders.
