Nicholas Yates KC and Edward Benson secure key appellate ruling in Cayman children case

Nicholas Yates KC and Edward Benson represented the appellant wife in the Cayman Islands Court of Appeal case of MM v FF [2026] CICA (Civ) 8.

The wife’s appeal against the first instance judgment to remove the children from her residence and cease all contact with her was allowed. The decision sets out important guidance in the Cayman Islands for the necessary approach and procedure for dealing with allegations of alienating behaviour raised in children’s proceedings (see [48] – [59]).
