Chambers is proud to announce the success of Richard Todd KC and Lily Mottahedan (instructed by Simon Bruce, Sarah Jane Lenihan, Amelia Alston, Laura Couves and Isabela Maculan of Dawson Cornwell LLP) in their representation of Kate Vince, the wife of eco tycoon Dale Vince OBE (of Supreme Court renown).
Mrs Vince received considerably more than Mr Vince had been offering during the proceedings. Specifically, they won the key arguments of (a) there should be an equal share of the matrimonial assets (Mr Vince had been contending for 40%) and (b) there should be no illiquidity discount.
Mr Vince’s final open proposal of settlement was £22.25m. Mrs Vince will be exiting this marriage with double that sum.
