Anastasia Gilfillan

Anastasia joined Chambers in October 2022 after completing her pupillage under the supervision of Phillip Blatchly, Jude Allen and Joshua Viney. She is building a broad practice and accepts instructions in all areas of private family law, including financial remedies, private children work, and applications under the Family Law Act 1996.

Prior to joining chambers, Anastasia worked as a paralegal at a leading specialist family law solicitors’ firm in London.

During pupillage, Anastasia assisted her supervisors and other members of Chambers on various high-value financial remedy cases, including in the High Court, undertaking bank account analyses, reviewing disclosure and assisting on the preparation of court documents.

During her studies, Anastasia volunteered for the Free Representation Unit, The Schools Consent Project and The Unity Project.
