Emily was called to the Bar in July 2024 and commenced her pupillage in October 2024. Emily is being supervised by Ben Wooldridge, Katherine Cook and James Webb.

Prior to starting pupillage, Emily was a paralegal at a leading solicitors’ firm in London where she assisted in a range of financial remedies and private children cases. Emily has spent time in South Africa working as a legal intern with a tech company combating gender-based violence. She has also volunteered at Advocate and the National Centre for Domestic Violence.

Emily is a regular contributor to the Financial Remedies Journal website and the Family Law Week website. Emily also volunteers with the Young Bar Mentoring programme.

Emily is a keen swimmer with a new-found interest in open-water swimming, having been a synchronised swimmer and water polo player in the past.
