Four members of chambers in the Court of Appeal in Morrell v Morgan and Morgan v Antoniou

This week, four members of chambers appeared in the Court of Appeal in the linked appeals of Morrell v Morgan and Morgan v Antoniou, cases leap-frogged up to the Court of Appeal on the basis they raise an important point of principle regarding the interrelationship between court orders for child maintenance and maintenance calculations made by the Child Maintenance Service.

Nicholas Wilkinson KC, Phillip Blatchly and Henrietta Boyle appeared for Ms Antoniou, instructed by Miranda Fisher, David Carver and Isobel Asti of Charles Russell Speechlys, and Christie O’Connell appeared as junior counsel for Mr Morgan, instructed by Laura Guillon and Emma Whitehead of Hall Brown Family Law.

The judgment has been reserved.
