Equality & Diversity
1 Hare Court is committed to encouraging and advancing diversity within Chambers and at the Bar.
We are proud to be an inclusive environment aiming to ensure equal opportunities for our members, employees, pupils, mini-pupils, prospective tenants and prospective pupils.
Chambers has a fully inclusive and transparent applications process, which strives to recruit from a diverse pool of talented candidates. We ensure that our pupillage recruitment process follows the most up-to-date Bar Council fair recruitment guidance. Every member of the pupillage committee is required to undertake equality, diversity and inclusion training and is aware of the need to avoid unconscious biases.
Chambers has a comprehensive Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policy.

We actively refrain from race discrimination and are committed to recognising, confronting and challenging the effects of structural racism. Chambers’ Anti-Racism Statement is available to view here.
