1 Hare Court shortlisted for two Financial Remedies Awards 2026

We’re delighted to announce that two members of 1 Hare Court have been shortlisted for the Financial Remedies Awards 2026, recognising their contribution and achievements in the field of financial remedies.

The shortlist features:

• Financial Remedies Barrister of the Year – Edward Benson
• Financial Remedies Young Barrister of the Year – Lydia Newman-Saville

The Financial Remedies Awards are dedicated exclusively to the financial remedies sector, celebrating professionals and organisations who demonstrate innovation, integrity and excellence in advancing financial remedies law, procedure and best practice.

This year’s shortlist reflects the breadth and strength of talent within the financial remedies community, with Edward and Lydia both spotlighted in highly competitive individual categories.

We’re also pleased that 1 Hare Court is sponsoring the ‘Financial Remedies Case of the Year’ category which acknowledges an exceptional case that’s made a significant contribution, whether through its legal significance, complexity or wider impact.

The winners will be announced at a drinks reception in London on Thursday 15th October 2026.
