1 Hare Court Chambers is delighted that our leading family team has been recognised with multiple short-listings in the upcoming Family Law Awards.
The nominations include the Family Law Chambers of the Year, Financial Remedies Team of the Year and Family Law Case of the Year, the latter being Standish v Standish in which, as the preeminent family set, 1 Hare Court provided counsel on both sides in the Supreme Court, the appellant wife represented by Richard Sear KC (led by Lord Faulks KC) and the respondent husband represented by Timothy Bishop KC, Rebecca Bailey-Harris and Tom Harvey.
Timothy Bishop KC was also short-listed for Family Law KC of the Year, whilst Joshua Viney received a short-list nomination for Family Law Junior of the Year.
In addition, both Lydia Newman Saville and Christie O’Connell have been short listed for Family Law Young Barrister of the Year, and the set is short-listed for the Family Law Clerking Team of the Year.
